back from Dubai.

well, i am home sweet home now. but i miss Dubai though. and pictures of it are at Facebook. it's so troublesome to upload at blogger.

yeah. Dubai is a great place for holiday. maybe i should come back ten years time and see the upgraded site. because it is currently developing. everywhere is construction. despite that, i really enjoyed my stay there la...

first of all, the cars there are way cheaper so it's no surprise that million types of cars are on the roads there. i can just sit at Starbucks along the road and go crazy with the exotic cars that passes by. haha. superb. secondly, the scenery is fantastic. even though the weather is humidless and hot and no greenery around, it is wonderful to see sand as substitutes as grass. it is something different from Singapore. third, the beach/es are some place you must visit in Dubai. the water is like plain water from far. but when you go in it, you will find that it taste like salt water. they say, looks can be deceiving. haha. fourth, anything and everything, or at least most of the places there are air-conditioned. the reason being it is just toooo hot.

well, the place where i stayed is kind of high class so the standard of living is so high, the things in the residence are so expensive. but Subway was worth the cost. have you tried Subway cookies?, they are Heaven. or so i thought. haha. the malls are almost of the same as each other. so same that everything in it, or at least most of it are expensive. but Dubai is really the land of the possible. my Dad works at the-almost-complete Palm Jumeirah. search it up Google. then the company that made that artificial island, Nakheel, announced to make two more Palm island and one island which is called The World. really, search it up Google.

then they also have the tallest building in the world called the Burj Dubai. they also have the largest mall in the world called the Dubai Mall. wonderful ain't it? haha. i thought so. really loved Dubai. oh ya. and in fact, my sleeping time has ran out of placed because Dubai's time is 4 hours behind Singapore's. so i usually slept at around 12pm Dubai time and Singapore is already 4am. haha. so now is 3.22am in Singapore, where Dubai is only11.22pm. haha. so still trying to adjust to the Singapore timing.

i guess that's the reason why i didn't come for Band practice today. haha. was both tired and could not wake up. =P

so, this is where i end my post. sadly. still haven't meet my friends. =(
and if you want to see pictures, go to my Facebook. =)

Alhamdulillah, i am grateful for everything.

Wow. Five years since my last post. Well, a whole lot has changed in five years. I never knew what dreams are made of and i never knew what it was like to achieve your dreams. Through hard work and pure grit and determination, you can achieve your dream. There will be times where you think your goal is just out of reach or it will take you a longer time than originally hoped for but trust yourself to make small leaps of faith and many unimaginable things can be achieved. As a Muslim, i believe Allah is the best of planners and alhamdulillah, He is the best of planners. There were times i doubted myself about my life and what i wanted to do because the journey to achieve my dreams is taking longer than i had imagined. Five years ago i was still in the National Service serving in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) as a Third Sergeant taking NSmen for Individual Physical Proficiency Test (IPPT) and conducting Remedial Training (RT) as well as IPPT Preparatory Training (IPT). In 2014, i had

two is better than one.

it's 12th August, which means i am into the 12th day of fasting. how was is that! it felt like only yesterday that Ramadan started. THANK GOD! but 12th August also means 13 days to Prelims! and 70+ days to Os? damn. i really got to work my shit out and start revising. i bet the entire cohort says that but not working their butts, including me. where's our motivation?! teachers' are all getting stressed out instead of us. haiyo. i wonder what is happening to the Singaporean kids nowadays. cheyyy. uhm, k quick update. life = mundane. by right, i shouldn't be seeing this page often anymore. it's time to focus on the books and papers and TYS and booklets and answer sheets and what not. mati la like that. oh, and congrats to my beloved English teacher, Mrs Rupesh on the birth of a baby girl. we love you and please enjoy your maternity. ;)

A Lonely September.

I'm sittin' here all by myself just tryin' to think of something to do. Tryin' to think of something, anything just to keep me from thinking of you. But you know it's not working out 'cause you're all that's on my mind. One thought of you is all it takes to leave the rest of the world behind I'm sittin' here tryin' to convince myself. that you're not the one for me. But the more I think, the less I believe it and the more I want you here with me. You know the holidays are coming up I don't want to spend them alone.
