The Big Day. Tmr.

Well, a million and one things has happened without realising. Training for SYF has been very tiring. And the next thing you know is there is a pile of homework for you and you still got SYF tomorrow. But tomorrow will be memorable because it will be the last SYF in National Stadium. My first time in OPWO and last time performing in National Stadium. It has been a long period of training. But it will be back to normal next week, after SYF. Its funny though. Its only two months that we got and we learnt the whole 40 formations. It is crazy and impossible. But we made it possible. Its the most amazing thing my batch did so far. Its something i will remember. In the next two years, we will be entering the next outdoor SYF. We will also start practicing the start of next year.

Secondly, subjects has been going on well. The band members in my class has to miss some lessons sometimes as for the band practice. Its is seen by classmates as privilege. I thought it too a little but i would like not to miss lessons like Maths and Science. Talking about Science, i did my Science test today. It was told to us at the begining of the term and it was only given now. It's been 4 weeks until it was given out. Hope to pass it. Maths was also given a test on. So far, all the chapters are capable for me to do. Its a long continous chapter on algebra. Now, we started on angles. It seems easy but it involves algebra. I realise that in Secondary Schools, all the levels are learning algebra. It would get harder at Sec 4 of course. But algebra is fun. Whats better is that we can use calculators.

Moving on, Band is fun. Despite training for SYF, fun is always there. We have fun everytime we had the chance to. I am friend with Hady Mirza's cousin. How great. He is funny. He also can sing well. He won 2nd in OP Idol which is a contest held by OPSS for OPSS Students only. I wonder why he joined band. I think its because that band is the only most interesting CCA in OPSS among the uniformed groups and sports. As a matter of fact, he is quite chubby and fat.

I think that will be all for now. Updates on on the way. Right after the SYF, i will update.

Now run along. Tata. C'ya whenever i see you.

Alhamdulillah, i am grateful for everything.

Wow. Five years since my last post. Well, a whole lot has changed in five years. I never knew what dreams are made of and i never knew what it was like to achieve your dreams. Through hard work and pure grit and determination, you can achieve your dream. There will be times where you think your goal is just out of reach or it will take you a longer time than originally hoped for but trust yourself to make small leaps of faith and many unimaginable things can be achieved. As a Muslim, i believe Allah is the best of planners and alhamdulillah, He is the best of planners. There were times i doubted myself about my life and what i wanted to do because the journey to achieve my dreams is taking longer than i had imagined. Five years ago i was still in the National Service serving in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) as a Third Sergeant taking NSmen for Individual Physical Proficiency Test (IPPT) and conducting Remedial Training (RT) as well as IPPT Preparatory Training (IPT). In 2014, i had

A Lonely September.

I'm sittin' here all by myself just tryin' to think of something to do. Tryin' to think of something, anything just to keep me from thinking of you. But you know it's not working out 'cause you're all that's on my mind. One thought of you is all it takes to leave the rest of the world behind I'm sittin' here tryin' to convince myself. that you're not the one for me. But the more I think, the less I believe it and the more I want you here with me. You know the holidays are coming up I don't want to spend them alone.
